Market is likely to gain on supportive global cues. Wall Street
markets surged yesterday on rising hopes for global economic recovery
boosted by positive economic news in Asia. Asian stocks moved higher
tracking Wall Street's rally overnight and a weaker yen
triggering some hectic buying across the board. Meanwhile, the
government will unveil industrial production data for April 2010
today,
11 June 2010. Industrial output in March 2010 grew in double digits
for the sixth straight month, rising an annual 13.5%.
According to data released by the NSE, in the last session, FIIs were
net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 242.77 crore, while
they sold index options worth Rs 266.51 crore. They were net buyers of
stock futures to the tune of Rs 406.33 crore and bought stock
options worth Rs 58.40 crore.
