There are lot of instrumets available in the mkt for tax saving.Any have the maximum amount for tax saving is restricted up 1 lakh only (Exempted for one financial year). you can invest in any of the following :

 

1. ELSS Mutual Funds

2. ULIP insurance policies

3. National Savings Certificates (VIII issse)

4. Life Insurance premium

5. Infrastructure Bonds/RBI Bonds etc.,

 

Kindly consult with Financial Planner available to you and do the needful.
